I can’t believe I’ve missed this place. Went there for the first time on Wednesday night this week and was thoroughly impressed and went home very full.
Their olde fashions didn’t disappoint and I ordered an 8 ounce lobster tail that was truly awesome and not overpriced. The only criticism I could make is that there was maybe too many fried seafood options and I like things fresh or grilled.
Restaurant displays its history well with photos on wall and on their menu. The service was slow but that’s what you want, sit at the bar, get your order taken and lead to your seat. A rainy night with nowhere to be, so it was perfect!
Love going to Kropp's! Food is always great. Bartenders and wait staff have been there for years, and do a great job. New owners have the entire place decorated so cute for Halloween ( love the floating candles and witch hats). Can't wait to see what Christmas looks like. Be ready for a wait if you go during peak hours, especially on a Friday night. This is not a large place. Even when waiting, bartenders will do their best to take care of you.
Tonight was our first night here and we have no idea how we missed this place! This was the best scallops and perch we have ever eaten. We frequent many supper clubs, and are avid fisherman So this is a huge recommendation!
Kropp’s is a quintessential Wisconsin supper club. You order your meal at the bar while enjoying an old-fashioned and good company. The waitress gets you when your table ready, and you eat amazing food. A complimentary small dish of homemade ice cream completes the evening. I live in Florida, and the next time I travel to Lambeau to see the Bucs take on the Packers, we WILL eat at Kropp’s after the game.
Very nice Supper club. Beautiful atmosphere with a down home staff. Friday fish fry is a must. A slice of Wisconsin from yesteryear’s.
It gets a bit crowded on Friday night, but it is well worth the wait. Walleye was delicious, as was the cod and shrimp.
Kropp's has been one of our favorite Supper Clubs in the Green Bay area for years and years. In a beautifully maintained historic tavern in Mill Center, they have delicious food, and wonderful service at the bar. I was a bit nervous when the Kropp family left the business a few years ago, but with so many familiar staff who continue to work at the restaurant, under the new ownership, everything remains much the same! A wonderful place to get a Friday night Perch Fry, great Chicken, and tasty Old Fashions. Brought some visiting friends last night, who just loved the atmosphere and the whole experience!
This place had a local hangout vibe and is a converted, charming old house. We were seated by a somewhat rude hostess at a four top in the bar area for about a half hour while looking at the menu and weren't asked by anyone if we wanted drinks while waiting. We were then told the restaurant was out of a few choices, that we wouldn't be seated in the dining area until our food was ready and weren't offered to simply enjoy our meal at the four top or at the bar like others, which would have been fine. Cannot comment on the food since we decided to leave.
